Our Story
My wife, Erin, would tell you that I grew up in the middle of a corn field. However, in truth, I grew up in a small farm town called Upland, IN. Erin was born and raised in Boilermaker territory. She had slightly more of a city life upbringing. Little did we know, that these places were a formation in us, weaving a passion to create from raw materials. In my world, scrap wood turned into a fort or a battleship creation. Whatever I was up to with family and friends, craftsmanship began to take root. My wife always had an admiration for potters which she transformed into a love of pottery when she got a chance at the wheel. Through marriage, careers, and raising a family, our roots continue to be the catalyst for creation.
Much of who we are today is credited to the cloth we were cut from. Various people impacted our hearts, special places imprinted our souls and experiences beyond the normal day to day routine left lasting impressions on who we are, and hopefully you will experience that in our work.
